MULTIPLE THIGH LIPOMAS – SURGERY PHOTOS
Photo 1: All 68 lipomas removed from the right thigh in a single session through no more than 4 strategically placed skin incisions. They exhibit varying sizes and shapes.
Photo 2: Angiolipomas were also present on the right thigh. Here is a highly painful one located just below the hook. The photo aims to demonstrate that distinguishing lipomas from normal fat tissue can often be very challenging, even for experienced individuals.
Photo 1: We removed no less than 37 lipomas of various sizes from 4 "strategic" regions on the front side of the left thigh. In the top right corner, there's a finely excised, prominent scar from an unsuccessful lipoma surgery performed elsewhere. The "operated-on lipoma" had reappeared in that spot. I utilized this incision for the "strategic" removal of several (six) lipomas. The ruler shown measures 20 cm.
Photo 2: Classic, painful angiolipoma on the front side of the thigh. The angiolipoma contains numerous blood vessels and is reddish in color. Healthy yellowish fat tissue surrounds it. The surgery was performed under (local) tumescent anesthesia, and there's minimal bleeding.
