BACK LIPOMAS (LOWER PART) – SURGERY PHOTOS
Photo 1: The skin incision on the back reveals thick, mechanically robust dermis.
Photo 2: The skin thickness on the lower back can be up to 8 mm.
Photo 3: Two larger lipomas are immediately identifiable, embedded in natural adipose tissue.
Photo 4: Once the two lipomas are removed, the next lipoma appears in the depth.
Photo 5: During the lipoma removal, the fibrous, spiderweb-like connections between the tumor and the healthy, deeper tissue become evident.
Photos 1 and 2: The 32 removed lipomas (the depicted ruler is 20 cm long) correspond to their original locations in the body. The strategic groupings are also evident.
