GROIN LIPOMAS – SURGERY PHOTOS
Photo 1: Right after making the skin incision, the lipoma, which was under significant growth pressure, bulged forward beyond the wound edges.
Photo 2: Further dissection of the tumor revealed large masses of the lipoma.
Photo 3: During the removal of the lipoma, the strong fibrous connections with the 'healthy' surrounding tissues could be visualized and safely cut. Beneath them were the major nerves, blood vessels, and lymphatic vessels for the leg, all of which were optimally preserved.
Photo 4: The 'empty' wound cavity with the excess skin, which shrank back completely.
Right at the end of the operation, with an aesthetically pleasing suture. All wound edges have excellent blood circulation.
Photo 1: The removed lipoma with the capsule completely preserved. The compress it is sitting on is exactly 10 cm wide. The (after removal from the body) shrunken lipoma still exceeds the 10 cm length.
Photo 2: In the side view of the removed lipoma, you can see the significant lobulation and budding, as well as the fine blood vessels running inside the preserved lipoma capsule, nourishing the tumor from all sides.
Photo 3: The lipoma removed from the body and held in my hand shows a kind of constriction, as if a large 'satellite' is just forming.
