COMPARISON OF LIPOMA WITH ANGIOLIPOMA – SURGERY PHOTOS
Comparison of a painful angiolipoma (left) with a "common" non-painful lipoma. The angiolipoma is reddish-violet and firm, while the "common" lipoma is soft, yellowish, and has blood vessels running within its delicate capsule that nourish the interior of the lipoma. Both lipomas come from the same patient.
