HOW MANY LIPOMAS CAN BE REMOVED IN ONE SESSION?

The removal of (almost) all sizes of lipomas is usually done on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, with additional sedation if necessary.
Two very important factors play a crucial role here:

1. The health condition of the person undergoing the surgery.

Patients with significant pre-existing conditions (e.g., coronary artery narrowing, stent implantations, long-term smoking, diabetes, etc.) should opt for fewer lipomas removed at once to avoid risking their health. Even though this operation is generally not very taxing, it's always better to err on the side of caution. If desired, a competent anesthesiologist can be involved in larger operations, but their time will be billed separately.

2. The operation according to body regions.

It has proven to be very effective not to operate too much at once, even in physically fit patients. I frequently observe that patients of all kinds tend to overestimate their tolerance for the extent of the surgery.
The most successful strategy in my hands is to operate on one limb or the front or back of the trunk at a time. In the case of large or numerous lipomas, it may even be necessary to further divide these regions. It is essential that the operated individuals can cope with the postoperative period. Therefore, it makes a lot of sense, for example, for a right-handed person to have the left arm or left leg operated on first, so that our complex postoperative treatment strategy to optimize the scar outcome can be optimally implemented. The same applies in reverse for left-handed individuals. With the subsequent operation, the postoperative treatment becomes much easier since it is already familiar.
Furthermore, after the operation on, for example, a limb, the patient is restricted in their activity radius due to the necessary immobilization. This limitation is naturally less severe when only one limb (e.g., one arm) is operated on at a time compared to having both an arm and a leg undergoing surgery simultaneously. The time gain from combining regions is usually less than expected, while the circumstances become significantly more challenging, and the scar healing outcome is typically worse.
Here, I recommend that you - despite your great ambitions and athleticism – listen to my advice. This advice applies, of course, to medical colleagues as well.
